I am native of Iran, have been a truth seeker and Yogi since my early childhood. I was always attracted to know the beyond.
My father gave me three fundamental keys when I was 6 years old. « Gnauthi seauton » « Know yourself » or « Self Inquiry », from Bouddha; and quote by Confucius « Don’t do unto others what you don’t want they do unto you » and the final one, « Self Respect ». Ever since then, I search to come to a full understanding of existence and the connection of body, mind and soul. I have been brought up in a pure spiritual family. Whilst I was a student in India studying psychology at the University of Pune. where I also confirmed my Yoga practice with Guruji Iyengar at his Institute of Yoga and I loved also to go to Osho Meditation Resort in Koregaon Park in Pune and attend sometimes conferences of Jiddu Karishnamurti. I arrived to Pune when Nizargadatta Maharaj (author of book « I Am That ») had stopped his satsang. I recommend his book » I Am That ».
From India to Belgium
I arrived in Belgium in 1983, soon teaching Yoga whilst a student in clinical psychology at the Catholic University of Louvain, making also Yoga my topic of research. In 1998 I finally decided to make the practice of Yoga my full-time life calling, leaving careers in psychology and business. Over the last 35 years, I taught Yoga and spread its light to thousands of students. I took students for retreats and Yoga vacation to India and other places such as Greece and Mallorca.
As an Instructor
As a Master I began to instruct yoga teachers with my own curriculum as of 2010. Many students came to me for spiritual counseling, yoga therapy and coaching. Health clubs and Yoga teachers alike often invite me as a lecturer and speaker on Yoga and the art of living. I had the opportunity to show the power of advanced Asanas in numerous demonstrations. Above all, I believe that through the earnest and full practice of Yoga, humanity can be transformed into an eternally peaceful society. Yoga is a way of living, I can confirm, it is the most ancient religion in the world. By practicing and living yogic life, you have 3W: Who you are. What you want and Where you want to go. You are not imitating, to be someone.
I am a member of the Association Belge des Enseignants et Pratiquants de Yoga
